MASP's Video Room shows Ru Q’an Ramaj – Escalera del Tiempo, a video by Edgar Calel. The exhibition runs from October 30, 2026 (30 de outubro de 2026) to January 31, 2027 (31 de janeiro de 2027). MASP is a 20-minute walk from gate 2 of Parque Augusta. Admission to MASP costs R$ 85.
MASP commissioned the video and presents it for the first time, with director Fernando Pereira dos Santos. Edgar Calel was born in San Juan de Comalapa (Chi Xot), in Guatemala. The artist's practice draws on the ancestral knowledge of the Maya Kaqchikel people. The work brings together archive material produced in Guatemala and in Brazil.
